These tour gardens are attractive, water-wise, and low maintenance. They also use a minimum of chemicals and provide habitat havens for birds, butterflies and pollinator s. California’s native plant gardens increase wildlife corridors in fragmen ted habitats, preserve our natural ecosystem and promote biodiversity in ou r built environments. They help restore nature, one garden at a time! Nativ e plant tours provide inspiration and information for native gardeners, des igners, and growers.\nOver 50 of our home and public gardens landscaped wit h California native plants will be open to the public for in-person tours o n Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13, from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
