DESCRIPTION:Join botanist Katie Gallagher and her child for a wildflower walk. As we st
 op to look at the wildflowers, we will talk about what the flowers are call
 ed and which plants are safe for small hands to touch!\nWe’ll park and gath
 er at Belgatos Park in Los Gatos and walk the Santa Rosa Trail through Sant
 a Rosa Open Space. There is a play structure for letting little ones free p
 lay before and after, and there are restrooms.\nThe distance we walk is fle
 xible depending on what we feel like as a group, but it probably won’t be m
 ore than a mile or two. Sections of the trail will be a little steep at the
  beginning.\nPlease bring lunch, water, lots of snacks and sun protection. 
 Hiking poles are recommended, especially if conditions are muddy. Heavy rai
 n cancels.\nRSVP is required to join the walk. No drop-ins please and space
  is limited. We’ll meet at Belgatos Park, 308 Belgatos Lane in Los Gatos. D
