DESCRIPTION:The Seed and Cutting Exchange will be on Saturday, March 14 from 1:00 to 3:
 00pm at the Peninsula Conservation Center (PCC), 3921 E. Bayshore Road in P
 alo Alto. Plant pickup from the CNPS SCV Nursey online sale (https://califo
 rnia-native-plant-society-santa-clara-valley-chapter.square.site/) (Mon/Tue
  March 9/10) and the Grassroots Ecology Nursery (https://www.grassrootsecol
 ogy.org/nursery-sales) will also be available during the Exchange.\nThis fr
 ee event provides an opportunity to share and receive cuttings and seeds of
  native plants. Discover the diverse offerings, ranging from easy-to-grow v
 arieties to rare finds, and leave with new native plant cuttings and seeds!
  We will supply coin envelopes for seeds, but please bring your own contain
 ers for transporting cuttings home.\nIf you have native plant material from
  your garden that you would like to share, please bring it along. Be sure t
 o label your contributions for easy browsing – helpful growing tips and pho
 tos of the plants in bloom are appreciated. You may find it useful to use C
 alscape.org for this purpose; there is a link on the plant’s information pa
 ge that allows you to create a printable sign for most native species and c
 ultivars. If you bring cuttings, please ensure they remain cool and moist i
 n a bucket of water. It is not necessary to bring anything if you do not ha
 ve native material to share, as there is typically an abundance for everyon
 e.\nSeveral well-known native plant books will be available for purchase at
  the event, including Wildflowers of California from CNPS, Seed Propagation
  of Native California Plants (2021 edition) by Dara E. Emery and California
