DESCRIPTION:<div class="jev_evdt_desc"><p class="p1">Enjoy the trails and the spectacul
 ar views of Calero County&nbsp;Park on May 3rd with Tom Lee. We will hike t
 hrough&nbsp;mixed serpentine terrain and enjoy different plant&nbsp;communi
 ties. The trail starts with some climbing in&nbsp;grasslands and loops arou
 nd chaparral before returning&nbsp;along a creek. This hike will be about 3
 .6 miles long with&nbsp;an elevation gain of 580 feet.</p><p class="p1">Som
 e flowers seen in past pears during this season include&nbsp;buttercups, lu
 pines, fiddlenecks and iris, along with red-winged blackbirds. Please bring
  sturdy shoes, appropriate&nbsp;layering, hat and lunch. Heavy rain cancels
