Join us for a celebration of our Chapter's 50th Anniversary and a Fall Plant Sale. This free family–friendly event will have activities for all. No tickets required for entry to the event, but free parking for the event (does not include access to Hidden Villa's hiking trails and farm animals) must be reserved in advance. No free parking without an advance reservation -- parking on the day of the event is $10 and includes access to Hidden Villa's hiking trails and farm animals. Current Chapter members will receive a free commemorative pin at the event.

2:00 - 2:30 Celebrating Chapter Field Trips 1981 - 1996, a talk by Ken Himes (Dana Center)

Plant Sales

There will be several ways to buy plants at and before the Celebration from the CNPS SCV Nursery and the Grassroots Ecology Nursery. For the best selection, order plants in advance before midnight on Wednesday, October 5 for pickup during the event. There will only be a limited selection of plants on sale during the Celebration. To order online:

This event depends on volunteers, and we could use help. We have a wide variety of volunteer options, so if you have some time to help out, please consider signing up.

CNPS SCV Member's Meeting

The annual CNPS SCV Chapter Meeting will be held from 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm in the Dana Center. It will include the presentation of the Outstanding Volunteer Recognition Award, an opportunity drawing and more! Chapter members as well as the general public are welcome to attend.
