2024 Fall Plant Sale

Fall 2024 Plant Sale FlyerOctober 11 to 14: Shop Online

October 19, 2024, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm: Pick up online purchased plants 

at the Dana Center at Hidden Villa, 26870 Moody Road Los Altos Hills. You'll have an opportunity to buy a limited selection of plants from both our nursery and the Grassroots Ecology Nursery as well as participate in other fun activities.

CNPS SCV Nursery

Shop online from October 11 to 14: https://california-native-plant-society-santa-clara-valley-chapter.square.site/ and schedule a time to pick your plants up on October 19. Only select plants (manzanitas and ceanothus along with some others) will be available for purchase outside the nursery during the event. The CNPS SCV Nursery will not be open for sales during the event.

Grassroots Ecology Nursery

The Grassroots Ecology Nursery will bring plants for in-person shopping at the event (no preorders). A list of available plants will be posted on their website at https://www.grassrootsecology.org/nursery-sales a few days before October
19.

  • 11:00 am: Planting demonstration by Krzysztof Kozminski in the Nursery Demo Garden
  • 1:00 pm: Free talk: Success with Native Plants for Beginners by Kevin Bryant
  • Gardening Advice Table (all day): Discuss your native plants and garden with our experts and receive plant selection advice and resources. This is not the place to have your whole garden designed.

  • Seed Exchange - bring seeds to share if you have some, but there will be plenty to choose from for everyone!
  • Partner booths: Santa Clara Valley Audubon, Sequoia Audubon, Hidden Villa. Open Space Authority
  • CNPS SCV Wildflower Ambassadors - free wildflower seeds and information about habitat gardening
  • Membership table - stop by and sign a new member up and receive a free gift (while supplies last)

  • Emily Chin's lovely pressed floral art
  • Books, t-shirts and more from our chapter
