Join Chapter members Fred and Patricia Evans at their cabin in Arnold, CA (Calaveras County) for three days of wildflower hikes over the July 4 weekend. Arrive July 4, hike July 5-7 and travel home on July 7 afternoon or July 8 morning. Cost is $15/person to cover housecleaning.
Attendees will explore Calaveras Big Trees State Park, Elephant Rock and the Pacific Crest Trail at Ebbett’s Pass (three elevations from 4000’ to 8736’). It will be spring at Ebbett’s Pass and the wildflowers will be amazing! This itinerary is subject to change, depending on weather and conditions.
The cabin sleeps 13 in beds (with 7 in a dorm) and there are two futons, room for tents on the porch or in the yard and two small RVs or vans can hook to electricity in the driveway. Dinners will be potluck and popcorn is provided.
