Join other native plant enthusiasts in a fun and educational atmosphere as we hone our skills at plant identification (aka “keying”). Native Plant ID usually meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month to work with botanical keys to identify plant samples brought in by various participants.
For November and December, we will not be having our usual Native Plant ID sessions. We have moved the November meeting up a week, to November 18, to avoid Thanksgiving conflicts. Instead of meeting as usual at the Peninsula Conservation Center, we’ve arranged for a visit to the herbarium at San Jose State University. To limit our attendance at this special meeting, we’ll offer it first to past Plant ID attendees and then post the meeting on Meetup closer to the date if space is still available. There will not be a meeting in December due to conflicts with the Christmas holiday.
Hopefully we will be starting up again in the new year. If you are willing to help with future sessions, please contact Janet Hoffmann at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
