Pruning is one of the garden tasks that requires the most skill and timing. Proper pruning affects the health and vigor of plants, and can take a garden from “good” to “great.” Learn when and how to prune your perennials, and how to avoid having to cut more than absolutely necessary. See examples of good and bad pruning done right before your eyes.
