We will try something different for Native Plant ID in November. On Tuesday, November 24 we will go on a hike in Alum Rock Park, to explore the different ecosystems in the park and see some of the trees that Bruce will have discussed in October. We’ll also expect to see a variety of other plants in their fall plumage plus nuts and berries. The hike will be about 4-5 miles along both sides of the creek, with about 600 total feet of elevation gain.

We will meet at the Rustic Lands parking area at 10:00am. Bring a snack or lunch and dress appropriately for the weather. We should be out 3-4 hours with a break for lunch.
