2022 is our Chapter’s 50th Anniversary, and we are celebrating on Saturday, October 8 from 10:00am to 4:00pm at the Dana Center at Hidden Villa. This family- friendly event will feature a selection of native plants and native plant art, T-shirts, books and other related goods from our Chapter, Grassroots Ecology Nursery (www.grassrootsecology.org/nursery) and other vendors. There will be activities for kids, a food truck, talks and more. No tickets are required for entry to the event, but free parking must be reserved in advance. Make your parking reservation now!

Volunteers Needed!
The event depends on volunteers. We are looking for help with set up, transport of items to and from our PCC office, parking, book and T-shirt sales, plant orders, cleanup and more. In particular, persons wishing to donate native plant seeds for the seed exchange table should email Vicki Silvas-Young at This email address is being protected from spambots. New Member Special Offer
In honor of our Chapter's 50th anniversary, we are offering a special package for people who join CNPS during our celebration on October 8. New members will get a 50% discount ̶ only $25 to join CNPS for a year! They will also receive a special welcoming package to our Chapter while supplies last ̶ a 50th Anniversary pin, CNPS SCV water bottle and a Chapter T-shirt! (T-shirt background color is navy blue.)
The offer is available only at our membership table during our celebration, and may also be purchased as a gift (be sure to bring your gift recipient’s mailing and email address as they will be needed to complete the signup). This offer is valid only for people who have not previously been members of CNPS.
All current Chapter members may pick up their Chapter anniversary pin at the membership table. Additional pins may be purchased at the book table.
Directions: Hidden Villa is located at 26870 Moody Road west of Foothill College. From I-280 in Los Altos Hills, take the Moody Road exit and head west. Two miles west of Foothill College, look for the Hidden Villa sign and driveway on the left. Follow the directions of the parking volunteers on our 50th Anniversary Celebration day.
