Seeking a Treasurer
Our Chapter is looking for a treasurer to join the board in 2025. The treasurer is elected for a one-year term and typically serves in the position for two terms. This is a volunteer position that involves maintaining the Chapter’s finances, so some experience in financial accounting or bookkeeping is desired. We would love to hear from you if you have a passion for the environment, want to help our organization and have the requisite skills. The new term begins in June 2025 with monthly Board meetings on Zoom. The Chapter's finance committee, which is mostly composed of past treasurers, is available to help you. Library Talk Helpers: We hold talks at libraries in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties. Several volunteers are for each talk to help with setup and check-ins. No experience is necessary. Sign up to help with an upcoming talk.
